Terms of Service
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Please read these terms carefully before submitting a project request or paying an invoice. A project request is not a binding order. A project begins only after we approve the scope and receive the required deposit.
1. Who we are
Your Site Tailor ("we," "us," "our") is a web design service based in Sarasota, Florida, US. You can reach us at info@yoursitetailor.com.
2. Our service
We offer custom, full-ownership website design across three packages: Economic ($299, up to 5 pages), Standard ($499, up to 10 pages), and Premium ($899, up to 20 pages), each subject to project review and written scope approval. E-commerce, booking systems, memberships, advanced integrations, unusually complex functionality, and projects exceeding a package's scope may require a custom quote. After full payment, we transfer the completed website to your hosting account. You are then responsible for hosting and ongoing maintenance unless separately agreed.
3. Project requests, approval, and payment
Submitting a project request does not create a binding order and does not guarantee acceptance. We will review the requested scope and may approve it, request clarification, decline it, or provide a custom quote.
For approved standard projects, a 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due after final approval and before launch, file delivery, administrator access, or transfer. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
4. What’s included
Unless a written proposal or invoice states otherwise, your selected package includes:
- A custom website built to your specifications (up to 5, 10, or 20 pages depending on package)
- Copywriting for all pages (light edits on Economic; full professional copywriting on Standard and Premium)
- Revision rounds until you are satisfied (1 on Economic, 3 on Standard, 5 on Premium)
- Full transfer of all website files to your hosting account
- A visual editor so you can update content yourself after delivery
Hosting, domain names, and ongoing maintenance are not included. You are responsible for your own hosting costs after delivery (~$10-20/mo from your chosen provider).
5. Full ownership transfers
Ownership transfers only after all invoices for the project have been paid in full. Until full payment is received, all drafts, previews, files, credentials, and work product remain our property. Once transferred:
- The website and all files become your property
- You are solely responsible for hosting, maintenance, and renewals
- We have no further obligation or ability to take the site offline
- Ongoing support is not included unless separately agreed
6. Revisions, client materials, and delivery
We aim to provide a preview within the timeframe communicated after deposit payment and receipt of the materials we need from you. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Delays in receiving content, feedback, credentials, approvals, or other client materials may extend the schedule.
Revision rounds are included based on your package (1 for Economic, 3 for Standard, 5 for Premium). A revision round means one consolidated set of requested changes. Additional rounds, new pages, redesigned directions, or requests outside the approved scope may require an additional fee.
7. Your content
You are responsible for all content you provide to us, including text, images, logos, and other materials. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the rights to use it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to refuse to build content that is illegal, offensive, or violates any applicable law.
8. Domain names
Domain names are not included in our service. You are responsible for purchasing and renewing your own domain name (~$12/year). We are not liable for any loss resulting from a lapsed or expired domain name.
9. Deposits, cancellations, and refunds
The initial deposit reserves project time and covers onboarding, planning, and work performed. Once work has begun, the deposit is nonrefundable except where required by law. If we cancel an accepted project before completing work, we will refund any unearned portion of amounts paid. Final payments are not refundable after the completed website or files have been transferred.
10. Limitation of liability
Your Site Tailor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or data. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid us.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last updated.
