Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Your Site Tailor ("we," "us," "our") is a web design and hosting service based in Sarasota, Florida, US. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Our services

We offer two types of service:

• Hosted plans - We build your website and host it on our platform for a monthly subscription fee. Your site remains live as long as your subscription is active.
• Full ownership - We build your website and transfer the complete files to your own hosting account for a one-time fee. After transfer, you are responsible for your own hosting.

3. Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month. We do not store your card details.

4. Hosted plans - suspension policy

Your website will remain live as long as your monthly subscription is active. If a payment fails or your subscription is cancelled:

• Your site will be paused at the end of your current billing period
• Your site files will be retained for 30 days after suspension
• You can reactivate at any time and your site will come back online immediately
• After 30 days of non-payment, we reserve the right to permanently remove your site files

We are not responsible for any business loss resulting from a suspended site due to non-payment.

5. Full ownership transfers

Upon receipt of full payment for an ownership plan, we will transfer your complete website files to the hosting account you provide. Once transferred:

• The website and all files become your property
• You are solely responsible for hosting, maintenance, and renewals
• We have no further obligation or ability to take the site offline
• Ongoing support is not included unless separately agreed

6. Revisions and delivery

We aim to deliver a preview of your website within the timeframe stated on your plan. Revisions are included as specified per plan. Additional revisions beyond the included amount may be quoted separately. We will work with you until you are satisfied within the included revision allowance.

7. Your content

You are responsible for all content you provide to us, including text, images, logos, and other materials. By submitting content, you confirm that you have the rights to use it and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. We reserve the right to refuse to build or host content that is illegal, offensive, or violates any applicable law.

8. Domain names

Domain names are not included in our service unless explicitly stated. You are responsible for purchasing and renewing your own domain name. We are not liable for any loss resulting from a lapsed or expired domain name.

9. Refund policy

For monthly hosted plans, we do not offer refunds for partial months. You may cancel at any time and your site will remain live until the end of the paid period. For one-time ownership plans, refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase if work has not yet begun. Once work has started, refunds are not available, but we will work with you to resolve any issues.

10. Limitation of liability

Your Site Tailor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or data. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of any material changes via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
